The Jewish Council for Public Affairs, umbrella organization of the Jewish Community Relations Council of Atlanta, is very excited to announce the inaugural Frank Family Leadership Institute. Funded by the generosity of Lois and Larry Frank of Atlanta, the Institute seeks to identify and train a cadre of leadership in the JCPA and their local JCRC.

The program seeks creative, energetic up-and-coming young leaders (the target age group is 30-45 but exceptions will be considered) who have the inclination, as well as time and resources, to become more involved in JCRC and JCPA leadership. An application and a list of areas of consideration will be distributed soon. We are looking for people who will bring wisdom, work and wealth to the community relations field. Participation in this program should be seen as an incentive for future long-term involvement rather than a reward for past involvement.

The program will include:
— Participation in the JCPA Leadership Mission to Israel with a pre-trip to Poland (Auschwitz-Birkenau) – Nov. 2-8, 2013.
— Participation in the JCPA Plenum – March 8-11, 2014 in Atlanta, including special programming.

Deadline for applications is May 31.  The program is generously subsidized.
